So for the past year Stacey and I have been putting together a documentary. The premise of the film is angry black women. As we started to explore this stereotype there really was no way to escape stereotypes of angry black men, the nice guy, as well as interracial dating and its possible effects on black love. Why are black women perceived as being angry? And more importantly what part of this anger can be a direct response to black men and if so why? Well with those questions in mind we set out to interview several young people and get their answers as well as some personal stories and opinions on some other topics that arose. I really hope that you take the time to view it. I’m incredibly proud of the finished product. Neither of us are trained in the ways of filming a movie or making a documentary and I think we exceeded a lot of our own expectations on what this film was going to look like. Aside from the poor quality in sound, it really is a good watch. Enjoy it!
